finishes, for butter cream finishes $3.45 per serving, for white chocolate
Ganache finishes, $3.75 per serving and $4.00 per serving for rolled fondant
finishes. You are welcome to email us your wedding cake ideas and pictures or to schedule an appointment for consultation. In many cases we can customize your cake. The Pastry Chef must approve the order before we can confirm that we will provide it for you. During your consultation, a wedding cake worksheet is prepared to design a wedding cake that's right for you and your budget. Once the details are worked out, we ask our wedding couples for a deposit to secure their wedding cake reservation, usually 1/4 of the total price of the cake. This deposit is non-refundable. Changes to the wedding cake can be made up to one week prior to the wedding, when the final balance is due. We accept cash, traveler checks, Visa & MasterCard for deposits and payments. You may choose from our selection of delicious flavors. However, we recommend that you order only two different flavors. Your guests will want to sample all the flavors and there is a chance that you may run out of cake. Our Pastry Chef can decorate your wedding cake with an elegant cascade of sugar flowers, with icing flowers, or fresh flowers are often applied for a very special look at an additional charge. Fresh flowers are a popular, simple, and very nice decoration for a wedding cake. Simply supply us with the fresh flowers by noon the day before the wedding, and we will arrange the flowers on or around the cake at no extra charge. In general we will add a small piping decoration around the cake. We can also place a ribbon trim for you, provided you supply us with the ribbon if what we have in stock is not of your liking. Any other type of decoration must be quoted by our head pastry chef. For a traditional look we recommend either our white plastic tier stands with elegant white pillars, or our clear acrylic tier stands with elegant clear twisted pillars that give the appearance of glass. For a beautiful cascade effect where each cake sits on a separate tier stand at a different level we recommend either our white plastic stands or clear acrylic stands. A damage deposit will be collected at the time of confirmation of the cake and the deposit will be given back once the cake stand has been returned in good order. We recommend that your cake be refrigerated or kept inside air-condition room and taken out one hour prior to the start of your reception, but this may vary depending on the weather, whether your cake is inside or outside, in the sun, etc. Please note that the cake can be only guaranteed for up to two hours. |
